PATTERNMAKING AND CASTING DESIGN

The first and vital stage of our process is the pattern or tooling manufacture.  Pattern and casting design is key to optimising our production practice. Micron invest a lot of time in ensuring patterns are made and designed precisely to achieve this. Although we do not design product, we are always keen to influence casting design and thus ease the path from concept to manufacture. We are familiar with most modelling software and make full use of this technology when cad models are available.
