New High Tech Sand Mixer Commissioned

The new system by Swift is designed to precisely control the binder chemical to sand additions without the need for the operator to keep changing settings or altering pumps, the system can be used in fully automatic or manual mode giving finite control of the mixed sands.

Sand and resin additions are automatically adjusted when switching programmes with hardener additions automatically changing in ratio giving each sand program its own resin and hardener addition rates.

In fully automatic mode the system will instinctively blend the two fast and slow chemicals to give a required strip time dependent on ambient temperature, this is electronically adjusted as the sand temperature increases or decreases.
