The final quality of a casting depends just as much on skilled finishing as it does on producing a sound casting in the mould.
Once castings have been knocked out and shot blasted, our experienced dressing team remove the running and feeding system and carefully finish each component to the required standard. Using a combination of flame cutting, arc-air gouging, grinding and welding where appropriate, excess material is removed and surfaces are dressed whilst maintaining the integrity and focus on the net shape the customer requires.
From small components requiring detailed hand finishing to large, complex steel castings, our team combines traditional foundry skills with modern equipment to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
